New moon book
Upon its release in 2006, the book raced to the top of the best seller lists. Twilight New Moon topped the New York Times best seller list for children's chapter books for eleven straight weeks, spending another thirty six weeks in various other positions on that list.
Demand for the book was so high, that prerelease copies given to reviewers were selling at auctions for upwards of three hundred fifty dollars. Critics raved about the Twilight New Moon book, with critics from a wide variety of publications giving it high marks for entertainment, plot twists, and character development.
It was described as being at least as exciting as the original bestseller, while creating an intriguing story and leaving readers holding their breath for the release of the next book in the series.
The Twilight New Moon book is in the top fifty best selling books of the last fifteen years. Hardcore vampire fans may be disappointed to learn that the book does not write as much about the Cullen family as the previous book.
It goes into more depth about Jacob Black and the Quileute werewolf pack. This does not detract from the Twilight New Moon book's charm. The insight into the thoughts and feelings of the werewolves gives the reader a more complete understanding of the world in which Bella is living, and helps the reader to envelope themselves in the character to get more enjoyment out of the reading experience.
Twilight New Moon functions well as a standalone story. Readers will enjoy it more however if they first read the original Twilight book. Some of the reactions of the characters and the flow of the story will make more sense to those who already have an understand of the characters in the book.
Regardless of if you want to read the original book, the Twilight New Moon book is a highly recommended book for anyone who enjoys a good fantasy romance novel.
